Question 1: Who is at greatest risk of being diagnosed with breast cancer?

Answer 1: Increasing age is the strongest risk factor for developing breast cancer; 76% of all breast cancers are detected in women age 50 and older.

After age, having a mother, sister, or daughter with a history of breast cancer is the strongest risk factor for breast cancer.
